Element A identifies the problem, and it documents who, what, when, and where it affects. Through this research we found out that it disproportionately affects disabled people, specifically, pedestrians in wheelchairs are in 1/3rd of fatal accidents on the road, with half of them being on the road/sidewalk. While researching, we specifically chose to focus on sidewalks, because sometimes when we go outside we see that sidewalks have cracks/potholes, and while we can just step over them, it's harder for pedestrians in wheelchairs to avoid them, and sometimes they have to go on the street to avoid the cracks in the sidewalk.
